It’s tough out there on the job hunt–we all know it. But there does seem to be some good news from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Atlanta IT jobs are on back on the rise.

According to a January 2011 article, “Employment in information technology is on the upswing. Computer network, systems and database administrators will have excellent job prospects, with employment growth projected at 30 percent from 2008 to 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.”

These projections come on the heels of ThyssenKrupp’s announcement to relocate it’s North American IT hub to Atlanta, GA–a move that will require the company to hire about 110 IT jobs.
